Van | Portrait Photography Ideas
Introducing the lovely Van, a current Wichita State University student, majoring in early childhood education. Today's blog post is all about new portrait photography ideas and locations! I approached Van and asked her to model for me for last Sunday afternoon. Do you remember last Sunday with all this crazy Kansas weather? It was bright and sunny with what felt like 100 mph winds! Bad for hair and also because I was trying to shoot and hold the reflector at the same time. Always dealing with the elements as an on location photographer in Kansas but we made the best of it! Looking to try some new photography techniques, I knew that Van would be the perfect, patient model. I lOVE the way the photos turned out and I learned a TON. Thank you Van for being a great model and contributing to the ideas that I had. It was so much fun to catch up and I loved spending the afternoon with you!
This cute little nook, we found near Intrust Bank Arena! I spotted this area a couple months ago and finally make it back to shoot here.
Shooting on a staircase was new to me and I love the way this photo turned out!
