I-Phoneography Apps, PicTapGo

Anyone who has visited the App Store knows there are a MILLION choices for app's you can use to edit photos on your phone. If you're not editing photos, prepare to be blown away with some of the capabilities of app's that are out there. Each week, over the Summer, I'll be reviewing some of the best I-Phoneography apps that I use and love. The first one is PicTapGo!

Here are the instructions provided by PicTapGo. Sounds easy, right? PicTapGo is definitely a great editing app for those new I-Phoneography! After you apply one filter, you can add on as many more as you want and change the strength of each one. There are a lot of filters to pick from and you’re able to customize by selecting the strength of the filter using the slider adjustment. You can also unlock four additional filers by sharing on social media. This app is $1.99 but I think you will find that it is well worth it for what's included.

You can either start by taking a photo or using a photo from your phone gallery. After taking or uploading a photo, you should see a “Filters” button in pink. Scroll down and select one of the effects you would like to apply to your photo.

After you apply one filter, you can add on as many more as you want. There are 55 filters to pick from and you’re able to customize by selecting the strength of the filter using the slider adjustment. You can also unlock four additional filers by sharing on social media. When you’re done editing, hit the “Go” button and you’ll be given the option to post directly to social media sites, like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, or save directly to your camera roll.

Here's the formula I used for editing this photo. The great thing is if you've really like the filters you've applied, they can be saved as one of one of your recipes for future use!

Here's a second photo with the recipe. As you can see, there are so many possibilities with this app, one of the reasons that I love to use it.

Check back next week when I'll be reviewing another I-Phoneography app!

Cheers!
