Brandon and Bonnie | Engagement Photos

So, remember that crazy amount of snow we received in February? When I spoke with Brandon and Bonnie in January to discuss their engagement photos we selected a Saturday in February. Little did we know that we would receive, like, 12 inches of snow two days beforehand. These two were such troopers! Despite being a little cold, the weather was sunny and surprisingly nice that day. And what's the best thing after spending a couple hours outside in the snow? Hot chocolate and donuts from The Donut Whole in Wichita! Brandon proposed to Bonnie over Christmas last year at Newport Grill and after she said yes,  he had all of their friends and family waiting at YaYa's to celebrate. This sounds like such a sweet proposal! These two met while working together and recently relocated to Lawrence, KS for job opportunities. Side note: Brandon was a good sport, since a KU game was going on in the middle of the photo shoot.

After playing the snow, we headed over to the Donut Whole for hot chocolate and donuts to warm up! I love the Donut Whole for the fun atmosphere and the a-m-a-z-i-n-g donuts. If you haven't been, you should definitely check it out!

These two are so cute and were the best work with. Even though it was cold, they never complained. I am so fortunate to have the best clients! Brandon and Bonnie- I wish you only the the best in your new life in Lawrence and I'm sure you will have a beautiful wedding!
